pick you up from hotel at 0800am and drive down to the south
interiors of Goa to the oldest capital Goa called CHANDRAPUR,
which was the first capital of the KADAMBAS? The original rulers
of the Goa, today knows as CHANDOR. |

(chandrapur) is well known in its yester years for its palatial
houses palaces, lakes, and its markets & Hindu temples. On arriving
chandor you will be welcome to one of its palatial house, built
in the 11th AD, here you will meet the great grand daughter-in-law
of 11th century house, she will take you around and describe
the house, its history the antique crockery, furniture and her
personal memories, of this great house. There by she will invite
you to a cup of tea & snacks as the reminisces of the glorious
by gone days. |

MUTT
- The Hindu Monastery |

After
a great experience at this palatial house you will visit a Hindu
monastery where children are taught at the age of 10 years all
the Hindu rituals, Vedas, Astronomy & Astrology. While they
are living at The monastery these children are taught how to
be self sufficient how they should cook their own food weave
their own clothes. The children are also taught to live very
humble lives as they are only allowed to dress up in a Muslim
cloth around the waist and one on their shoulder. They are also
taught chanting, yoga and self-control. As they will become
respectful Hindu priest after passing out of this monastery
called a MUTT. |

Oldest Carving In Asia |

After
seeing the Hindu monastery you will be drive to one of Goa's
oldest carving found on the rock beside the Kushawati river,
which is dated back to 5000 years BC and is knows as the oldest
carving in Asia where you will get to see carving depicting
life then, and the phase of the sun, moon, planets and our universe.

Farmers
at Work |

Then
we drive to a traditional GOAN farm where you will see farmers
growing different types of local vegetables, fruits & crops.
How they run their day-to-day affairs. You will get to see how
they still travel on bullock carts. How in the olden times they
ground their flour & how they made their Masalas. Here you will
have a meal at 10:00 pm, which is cooked in ethnic earthen pots
and served to you the way the early villagers would eat it on
afresh banana leaf. And at 04:30 pm, we drive back and drop
you at your hotel. |
