| Margao market is the biggest
busiest market of Goa. It is the only commercial market catering to
the entire Salcete district (South Goa). In the local language 66
is saashest; hence the name Salcete. It is not at all touristy, shop
here to avoid inflated prices in the resorts. |

| Tibetan Refugee Market

This daily market
is located at the football grounds of Calangute; it is a shaded market
of around 100 stalls organized by the refugee committee. Excellent
collection of Ladhaki handicrafts, thangka wall hanging, Tibetan silver
jewelry, hand made paper books and rings and things. |

Friday morning market is famous throughout Goa and draws hordes of
tourists and Goan’s from all over the state. It’s very colourful, and there are large sections selling everything from cooking pots to fresh fruit and vegetables. . |

is Goa's harbour market. Linked to the old harbour railway line. Has
the facility of an all weather natural port close to Goa's only international,
Dabolim airport. |

Goa's most interior market. Located is an area surrounded by majestic
temples. Five of Goa's most important Hindu temples are in this market
vicinity. Shri Manguesh, Shri Mahalsa, Shri Manguesh (Shiva temple)
and Shri Shantadurga temple. Very traditional and cultured market.
Plenty of bullock carts seen around this market. |

Saturday Night Market

between Baga and Anjuna in Ingo’s. Mackie’s is held near the Marinha Dourado hotel. The market starts around 6:00pm and winds down around midnight being cooler in the evenings it’s a lot more conducive to relaxed brousing. The stalls range from foreigners selling their own stuff to Kashmiri’s, Lamani’s, and Rajasthani’s so on. Various entertainment programmes is made available An ethnic array of food is available to choose from. Admission is free. |
